Chestnut Festival

The 2025 edition of the Chestnut Festival in the hamlet of America dei Boschi, Pocapaglia, was held from Friday, October 10 to Sunday, October 12, at the Arpino green area.

Friday opened the festival with a meeting with local 'trifolao' (truffle hunters) and a truffle hunt, followed by a dinner with entertainment by the Canté j'euv group. Saturday was dedicated to a pizza night, the election of Miss Castagna, DJ sets, and a cocktail bar. Sunday featured the agricultural machinery rally, mass, a hike through historic sites accompanied by expert Beppe Tibaldi, a lunch with a typical menu, children's games, an afternoon chestnut roast, and, in the evening, a play in the Piedmontese dialect.
