Edition 2025 — Scascoli Chestnuts

The 31st edition of the Festa dei Marroni di Scascoli took place on Sunday, October 12, 2025, from the morning, in the ancient village of Scascoli in Loiano (BO). A day of culture and tradition with the blond chestnut as the protagonist, featuring roasted chestnuts, wine, typical Apennine dishes, live music, exhibitions, and shows, in the spirit of solidarity that has always characterized the event organized by the Pro Loco of Loiano.

The 2025 edition, the 31st in the festival's history, was held on Sunday, October 12, 2025, in the village of Scascoli, a hamlet of Loiano. As per tradition, along the village streets, there was the sale of chestnuts and roasted chestnuts, wine, and typical local dishes served.

The day combined gastronomy and culture — with live music, exhibitions, and shows — confirming the event's charitable mission, with proceeds donated to charitable causes thanks to the work of volunteers from the Pro Loco of Loiano and the community of Scascoli.
