Edition 2025 — Chestnut Festival
The 54th edition of the Chestnut Festival took place on October 25 and 26, 2025, in Piazza degli Alpini in San Mauro di Saline. The program combined gastronomy and tradition: roasted and raw chestnuts, Lessinian specialities like tripe, entertainment for children, and musical performances on Saturday, with an evening Holy Mass and a 1970s-1980s style dance night. Sunday offered a conference on the chestnut in the traditional economy of Lessinia, the awards ceremony for the "Marrone San Mauro" competition, ballroom dancing, and a theatre performance. The guided cycling excursion through the chestnut groves completed a free admission festival, with parking and shuttle service available to visitors.
