Chestnut Festival of Riofreddo

The 41st edition, 1-2 November 2025

Organised by the Pro Loco of Riofreddo with the collaboration of the Pro Loco of Civita di Oricola, the TNT Youth Community of Arsoli and the local Senior Centre, the 2025 edition confirmed the food walk formula through the village alleys.

The full menu, at 18 euros, included bruschetta, polenta with meat sauce or fettuccine with mushrooms, grilled sausage and skewers, bread, a drink, dessert and roasted chestnuts; a reduced 5-euro option was available for children. The stalls opened at 12 noon on both Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 November.

Alongside the food, there were free performances by street artists, roving music and games for the youngest, plus free access to the "Le Pacetta" chestnut wood to gather chestnuts.
