Edition 2025 — Chestnuts Montenars

In October 2025, the 40th Chestnut Festival enlivened Montenars over two weekends, from October 10th to 12th and from October 17th to 19th, with food and wine stalls, guided excursions for chestnut harvesting, live concerts, workshops for children, and exhibitions, confirming its role as the highlight event of the Friulian autumn.

The 2025 Edition

The 40th Chestnut Festival took place in Montenars over two intense weekends, from October 10th to 12th and from October 17th to 19th, 2025. The food and wine stalls offered chestnuts, local dishes, craft beers, and many specialties, while the woods welcomed visitors for harvesting walks and guided excursions.

The program alternated live music — with bands like The Fire's Singers, Galao, Mediterranea Music Group, and Carlito's Swing — with briscola tournaments, a photographic competition, and a rich calendar of creative workshops and games for children, in a festival designed for all ages.
