Edition 2025 — Chestnut Festival Rigoso

In the autumn of 2025, the village of Rigoso, in Monchio delle Corti (PR), celebrated the Chestnut Festival during the traditional late October period. A day of roasted chestnuts, typical products, and the flavors of the Parma mountains, in the heart of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines and the Park of the Hundred Lakes.

The 2025 edition of the Chestnut Festival in Rigoso renewed the autumn appointment with the symbolic fruit of the Parma Apennines, in the highest village of the province of Parma. Included in the event calendar of the Municipality of Monchio delle Corti, the festival animated Rigoso with roasted chestnuts, food stalls, and traditional mountain dishes based on chestnut flour.

As usual, the event represented a moment of gathering for the local community and visitors, in an exceptional natural setting among the chestnut groves and woods of the Park of the Hundred Lakes.
