Castagna in Festa 2025

On Sunday, October 19, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 5:30 PM, the Poranceto woods in Camugnano hosted the 2025 edition of Castagna in Festa, organized by the Emilia Orientale Parks Authority within the Suviana and Brasimone Lakes Park.

The day began with the market set up in the Poranceto meadows, featuring chestnut products, local specialties, and ancient crafts. From 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM, the walk Gnomes, hedgehogs, and chestnuts led visitors into the chestnut grove, followed in the afternoon by the creative activity with natural materials (2:00 PM - 3:00 PM) and Stories and tales in the centuries-old chestnut grove (4:00 PM - 5:00 PM). Guided tours of the Wood Museum were available throughout the day. All activities were free, with a shuttle service available to the public.
