Chestnut Festival

The 25th edition of the Chestnut Festival in Antillo was held on Saturday, October 25, and Sunday, October 26, 2025, celebrating twenty-five years of an event born in 1999. On Saturday, the festival came alive in the afternoon and evening (from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM), while Sunday filled the entire day (from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM).

Along the streets of the historic center, there were stalls featuring roasted chestnuts, grilled sausage, artisanal sweets, homemade jams, wood-fired bread, mushrooms, cured meats, honey, cheeses, oil, and local wine. The program included folkloric performances, live music, a local craft market, guided woodland hikes organized by the "I trazzeri d'Antiddu" association, and a conference on the role of history as a lever for territorial and tourism development. The event was organized by the Municipality of Antillo with the Pro Loco and the support of the Sicilian Region.
