Edition 2025 — Chestnut Festival

On Sunday, November 16, 2025, the Valletta di Cetrella hosted the twentieth edition of the Anacapri Chestnut Festival, organized by the Associazione Amici di Cetrella with the collaboration of the Youth Forum. A day of great participation featuring a chestnut-based gastronomic trail, games for children, and live music, in the natural setting of Monte Solaro.

The twentieth edition in Cetrella

The 20th Chestnut Festival took place on Sunday, November 16, 2025 in the Valletta di Cetrella, in Anacapri, with a remarkable turnout. The day began at 9:30 AM with the opening of Casa Mackenzie, followed at 10:00 AM by the "Games among the trees" organized by Capri Outdoors for children. At 11:30 AM, a religious service was held in the church of Santa Maria a Cetrella, and starting at noon, the gastronomic trail featuring chestnuts began, enriched by contributions from local businesses such as Oro di Capri and Caffè Kimbo.

The festival was accompanied by live music from the band Underground Family and various entertainment activities designed to make Cetrella, for one day, the heart of the island community. An important milestone, the twentieth edition, which confirmed the Chestnut Festival as one of the most beloved autumn events in Anacapri.

9:30 AM opening of Casa Mackenzie; 10:00 AM "Games among the trees" for children with Capri Outdoors; 11:30 AM religious service in the church of Santa Maria a Cetrella; from 12:00 PM chestnut-based gastronomic trail; live music by the band Underground Family.
