The 2025 Chestnut Days
The 43rd edition of the Chestnut Days was held in Canepina, in the heart of the Cimini Mountains in the province of Viterbo, taking place over the weekends between October 3 and November 2, 2025 (11-12, 18-19, 25-26 October and the days of Halloween and All Saints' Day).
The event, organized by the Pro Loco Canepina, featured the opening of the characteristic cellars carved into the tuff with traditional dishes, historical pageants with ladies, knights, and flag-wavers, the Donkey Palio, the barrel race, the market fair, free guided tours, and the free distribution of roasted chestnuts in the squares, along with musical evenings and live concerts.
