Edition 2025 — Cherry Festival

In June 2025, Monterosso Almo renewed its traditional appointment with the Cherry Festival in Piazza San Giovanni. In the heart of the Iblei village, the stalls offered tastings of Sicilian cherries, desserts, and cherry-based jams, in a festive atmosphere accompanied by parades, folk music, exhibitions, and guided tours through the alleys of the historic center, one of the 'Most Beautiful Villages in Italy'.

The 2025 edition of the Cherry Festival took place in June in Monterosso Almo, in the province of Ragusa, confirming the village's dedication to celebrating its signature fruit. In Piazza San Giovanni, visitors were able to savor freshly picked Iblei cherries, along with artisanal desserts and jams.

As per tradition, the event combined gastronomy and culture: tastings, conferences, exhibitions, parades, and folk music enlivened the historic center, while guided tours allowed visitors to discover the town's churches and palaces. A community event that attracts curious travelers and enthusiasts every year to the heart of the Iblei Mountains.
