Cheese Festival

A day of celebration in Ortelle

On Sunday, October 5, 2025, the Ortelle (La Cona) area of Supino hosted the Cheese Festival, promoted by the Municipality as part of the Supino in Vetrina series with the collaboration of the Nui Simo du Supino folk group. At 11:00 AM, the cheese-rolling competition, organized by ASD Collelavena – I Ciclopi del Formaggio, opened the day with a playful challenge of strength and technique. From 12:30 PM, the food stalls offered the theme 'Honey & Cheese: The Perfect Pairing,' along with pasta e fagioli, sandwiches with cheese or prosciutto, and traditional desserts accompanied by mulled wine. At 2:00 PM, the concert by I Trillanti Trio brought folk music to the heart of the festival, which concluded in the late afternoon amidst songs and Ciociaria traditions.
