Edition 2025 — Cheese and Fava Bean Festival

The 2025 edition of the Cheese and Fava Bean Festival took place on Thursday, May 1st, in Talla, at Piazza Licio Nencetti, starting at 3:00 PM. As per tradition, the Pro Loco Guido Monaco celebrated Labor Day with a tasting of pecorino and fava beans, accompanied by fine wine, in the center of the Casentino village in the province of Arezzo.

On Thursday, May 1st, 2025, the village of Talla in the Casentino renewed its classic spring appointment with the Cheese and Fava Bean Festival. From 3:00 PM, in Piazza Licio Nencetti, the Pro Loco Guido Monaco offered visitors the traditional snack of pecorino and fava beans—the young beans freshly picked from the valley's gardens—along with fine wine and typical local products.

The event, which celebrates Labor Day in the Arezzo area every year, confirmed its role as one of the most beloved gastronomic events in the Casentino, with an indoor alternative available at the festival grounds in case of rain.
