Edition 2025 — Charcoal Burners' Spaghetti Festival

In July 2025, the Charcoal Burners' Spaghetti Festival enlivened Fratticiola Selvatica, Perugia, with ten evenings dedicated to spaghetti alla carbonara and local peasant cuisine. The program included the Mule and Packhorse Review, the Charcoal Burners' Palio, and live music and DJ sets every evening.

The 2025 edition of the Charcoal Burners' Spaghetti Festival reaffirmed the strong connection of Fratticiola Selvatica, in Perugia, with its tradition as a charcoal burners' village. The Pro Loco stands offered spaghetti alla carbonara, beans with pork rind, and stewed lamb, while the folkloric program featured the Mule and Packhorse Review and the Charcoal Burners' Palio, the race of district jockeys on mules. The evenings were enlivened by dance orchestras and DJ sets at the Donkey Pub, in one of the most characteristic festivals in the Perugia area.
