Edition 2025 — Saint Lucia in Mundimitar
In 2025, the Croatian-Molise community of Montemitro celebrated the festival of the Chapel of Saint Lucia on the Sunday after Easter and the last Friday of May, with solemn Mass in Selo, blessed bread, and the kolači auction.
In 2025, the festival of the Chapel of Saint Lucia once again brought the community of Mundimitar together in Montemitro on the two traditional spring dates. The procession to the chapel in the Selo locality, the solemn Mass, the distribution of blessed bread, and the auction of kolači cakes renewed a rite that connects the village to its Slavic roots, among the most vibrant signs of the Croatian-Molise identity in the province of Campobasso.
