Cesanese Festival and National Barrel Race

From August 21 to 24, 2025, La Forma di Serrone hosted the 67th Cesanese Festival, confirming its status as one of the most popular food and wine events of the summer in the province of Frosinone. Every evening, from approximately 7:00 PM until late at night, the route between glasses and producers along the Viale del Cesanese offered tastings of Cesanese del Piglio DOCG in all its variations, accompanied by Patacche De.Co., grilled meat, and traditional Ciociaria desserts.

The highlight was on Saturday, August 23: at 5:30 PM, the historical pageant with flag-wavers from Soriano nel Cimino, followed at 6:30 PM by the 17th National Barrel Race in Piazza Francesco Pais, with teams from the 'Città del Vino' busy pushing 500-litre barrels along the steep streets of the village. The evenings were enlivened by live concerts followed by DJ sets, with craft markets, open cellars, and excursions through the vineyards. Free admission for all days.
