Cervinara Carnival 2025: March 1st to 4th

The 2025 edition of the Cervinara Carnival took place in Cervinara from March 1st to 4th, organized by the Pro Loco Cervinara «A. Renna» together with the Municipality and local associations. The opening was entrusted to the arrival of the allegorical floats, scheduled for 7:00 PM on Saturday, March 1st, in Via Roma, but the event was canceled due to unfavorable weather conditions.

The festival resumed on Sunday, March 2nd, with entertainment for children in the Villa Comunale—games, creative workshops, baby dance, face painting, masquerade parades, and the «Create your own mask» workshop—and with performances of the 'Ndrezzata and Quadriglia in Piazza Salomoni, along Via Roma, and in the hamlets of Lagno, Valle, and Pantanari. On Monday, March 3rd, the local school hosted an «Eco Carnival» day dedicated to environmental education.

The grand finale arrived on Tuesday, March 4th, with folk groups parading from 3:00 PM in Piazza Castello, then in Piazza Regina Elena Ferrari, in Piazza Trescine, and finally between Via Roma and the Villa Comunale: an explosion of tradition and joy that closed four days of celebration in the Valle Caudina.

Tuesday, March 4th, 2025 — 3:00 PM, Piazza Castello; 4:00 PM, Piazza Regina Elena Ferrari; 5:30 PM, Piazza Trescine; 7:00 PM, Via Roma – Villa Comunale: masquerade parades and performances by the Cervinara 'Ndrezzata and Quadriglia folk groups.
