Certosa Festival 2025 — 25 years of the festival

The 25th edition of the Certosa Festival celebrated a quarter-century of existence, cementing its status as one of the most beloved and long-running events in the province of Pisa. The opening took place on Friday, July 4, 2025, in Piazza Garibaldi, Calci, with an inaugural evening that launched a program running through September.

The 25th-anniversary edition, titled "Io cerco!", explored a wide variety of genres—theater, symphonic music, spiritual events, concerts, and talk shows—animating the squares and iconic landmarks of the Val Graziosa village. Under the guidance of artistic director Salvatore Ciulla, the festival maintained its core mission: to showcase local artists alongside prominent guests, in close connection with Calci and its community. Organized by the Municipality of Calci with the support of the Fondazione Pisa, the festival confirmed its free-admission policy.
