Edition 2025 — Certamen Manfredi di Svevia

The first edition of the Certamen Manfredi di Svevia concluded on October 4, 2025, in Ceprano with the awards ceremony, marking the start of the Historical Re-enactment week. The competition received 152 entries including stories and poems, with free and set themes, from all Italian regions and two foreign countries, Norway and Argentina. An eleven-member jury selected twelve finalists, three for each section.

The first edition of the Certamen Manfredi di Svevia, promoted by the Il Verde cultural association, inaugurated a new literary prize in Ceprano dedicated to the figure of Manfredi di Svevia. Registrations, which closed on March 31, 2025, exceeded 150 works divided between fiction and poetry, with free and set themes.

The awards ceremony took place on October 4, 2025, at the opening of the week dedicated to the Historical Re-enactment of the meeting between Manfredi and Pope Innocent IV in 1254. The broad participation, with authors from all over Italy and abroad, confirmed the success of this first edition.
