Edition 2025 — Cerratina Patronal Feast
The 2025 edition of the Cerratina Patronal Feast in honor of Saint Nicholas and Saint Vincent took place on September 6th and 7th, promoted by the Cerratina in Festa Ovunque APS association under the patronage of the Municipality of Pianella. The hillside village, in the province of Pescara, experienced two days of faith and community: liturgical celebrations in the 18th-century Church of Saint Nicholas the Bishop, the procession of the patron saints' statues, and civil festivities in Piazza del Sole, the heart of the village. To allow for the festivities, the square remained closed to traffic from 8:00 PM on September 5th until 1:00 PM on September 8th. Among the musical highlights of the Cerratina tradition was the concert by the Premiata Banda di Cerratina, conducted by Maestro Renata Travaglini, with a repertoire ranging from marches to great opera classics and popular music, from William Tell to Libertango.
