Cerqueto Living Nativity 2025 — 58th edition
On Friday, December 26, 2025, the 58th edition of the Cerqueto Living Nativity took place in the municipality of Fano Adriano (TE), in Abruzzo. The evening opened at 5:30 PM with a piano and voice concert by Gianluca Di Febo, dedicated to the "sacred symphonies of time," followed by the performance featuring over 200 participants.
Key roles included: the Madonna played by Francesca Di Cesare, Saint Joseph by Francesco Pisciaroli, and the Baby Jesus by Edoardo Esposito. The production was directed by Angelo Mastrodascio, with narration by Carlo Orsini. The edition also featured a work dedicated to the Nativity created by the Teramo artist Glauco Barlecchini. The event, organized by the Pro Loco of Cerqueto in the heart of the Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga National Park, confirmed its large public turnout with free admission.
