Edition 2025 — Cerealia Carlantino

The 2025 edition of the Cerealia - Carlantino Wheat Festival took place on Sunday, July 20, in the Monti Dauni village overlooking Lake Occhito. The evening combined an archaeological trek to the San Chirico site, myths related to Ceres, and a convivial dinner in the heart of the village, with live music and folk dances. An event dedicated to promoting Carlantino's native wheat and the ancient agricultural traditions of the Daunian Sub-Apennines.

The 2025 edition of Cerealia was held on Sunday, July 20, in Carlantino, in the Province of Foggia. The meeting point was at 6:00 PM in the Town Hall square, the starting point for the archaeological trek to the San Chirico archaeological site, on the heights overlooking the village and the Occhito dam.

At 8:30 PM, the return to the village kicked off the convivial dinner featuring local products, organized by the Pro Loco of Carlantino, accompanied by the compositions of musician Franz Sassone and the dances of the Ethnos association from Lucera. The local girls wore costumes inspired by Ceres, made with vintage linen. The edition reaffirmed the festival's goal: the rediscovery of Carlantino wheat and sustainable, environmentally friendly agriculture.
