Centrale Fies Festival (Drodesera)

The 2025 edition of Drodesera, held from July 17 to 27 at Centrale Fies (Dro, Trento), offered ten days of radical art and performance research. The season opened with the exhibition Undomesticated Ground (July 17 - September 20), curated by Simone Frangi and Barbara Boninsegna, featuring works by Giulia Crispiani & Golrokh Nafisi, Elizabeth A. Povinelli, Théophile Peris, Marcos Kueh, and Adam Christensen.

At the heart of the programme, the Live Works Summit (July 18-20) presented the projects of the fellows selected through the Live Works open call, along with the winner of the Agitu Ideo Gudeta Fellowship. The following days hosted the Feminist Futures workshops (July 22-23) and the Witches / brand new self project. The festival closed with Radical Love (July 24-27), dedicated to the Italian scene with Sotterraneo — celebrating the company's twentieth anniversary — Silvia Calderoni / Ilenia Caleo, Jacopo Jenna, Francesca Pennini / CollettivO CineticO, Marco D'Agostin, and Giorgia Ohanesian Nardin, confirming Dro as a benchmark for performance research in Trentino-Alto Adige.
