Centenary of the Val della Torre Alpini Group (1926-2026)

In 2025, on the eve of the centenary, the Val della Torre Alpine Group continued its usual association activities in Piedmont: maintaining war memorials, honouring the fallen 'penne nere', and hosting the gatherings that have linked the Alpini to their valley for nearly a century.

The Group, part of the 5th Zone of the Turin Section of the National Alpine Association, dedicated the year to preparing for the 2026 celebrations. Between convivial meetings, volunteer initiatives, and participation in sectional gatherings, 2025 was a year of anticipation for the great milestone: one hundred years since its foundation, celebrated in June 2026 with three days of ceremonies, parades, and festivities in the municipality of Val della Torre, in the Province of Turin.
