Edition 2025 — Most Holy Savior Festival

The 2025 edition of the Most Holy Savior Festival took place on Saturday, August 23, and Sunday, August 24, in Bracciano. The central moment was the solemn procession on Sunday: around 7:00 PM, after the Holy Mass celebrated in the Cathedral, the Baroque wooden processional machine was carried on the shoulders of about twenty porters in white jackets and red sashes along Via Umberto I and Via Principe di Napoli, with stops at Piazza Formaggi and Piazza Mazzini for moments of meditation and prayer.

The 2025 Most Holy Savior Festival was held in Bracciano on Saturday, August 23, and Sunday, August 24, organized by the Rione Monti Association in accordance with the centuries-old tradition of the village.

The heart of the event was the solemn procession on Sunday, August 24: around 7:00 PM, at the end of the Holy Mass celebrated in the Cathedral, the Baroque-style wooden processional machine — containing photographic reproductions of the effigy of the Savior enthroned and the Virgin Mary assumed into heaven — was lifted by about twenty porters in traditional attire. The procession traveled along Via Umberto I and Via Principe di Napoli to Piazza Formaggi, where a moment of rest and prayer was held, before heading towards Piazza Mazzini to complete the final stretch of the transport. For the passage of the procession, the Local Police had arranged the necessary traffic changes in the historic center.
