Celebrations in honor of the Holy Cross

The Holy Cross Festival 2025 brought three days of celebrations to Belmonte Piceno from May 2nd to 4th. The festival opened on Friday, May 2nd, in Piazza Baglioni with a free concert by Il Giardino dei Semplici. Saturday, May 3rd, the central day, saw the Archbishop of Fermo Rocco Pennacchio celebrate Mass with the administration of Confirmation at 11:00 AM; in the afternoon, the solemn procession of the Holy Cross with the Città di Falerone band, followed in the evening by the concert of Fausto Leali. Sunday, May 4th, featured a historical-naturalistic walk with the Viarum association and a dancing evening with Moreno il Biondo's orchestra. Every evening, the Pro Loco's food stalls offered local specialties. All events were free.
