Edition 2025 — Our Lady of the Snows Marruci
The 2025 edition of the Celebrations in Honor of Our Lady of the Snows in Marruci di Pizzoli took place on August 5th, the day of the Marian feast. The day began with Holy Mass at 6:00 PM, celebrated in the church of Sant'Antonio Abate and Our Lady of the Snows, the 15th-century building that overlooks the village in the Upper Aterno Valley.
In the evening, at 9:00 PM, the community gathered for the screening of the film 'Un mondo a parte', the comedy directed by Riccardo Milani and set in a small town in the Abruzzo National Park: a particularly heartfelt choice for a mountain village like Marruci. The initiative, organized by the parish with the Fraternità Association, confirmed the dual religious and community nature of the festival.
