Edition 2025 — Our Lady of Sorrows Casoli
The 2025 edition of the Celebrations in Honor of Our Lady of Sorrows in Casoli (CH) took place on Saturday, May 24, 2025. The day began at 5:00 PM with the parade of the Casoli Band through the streets and alleys of the village, which accompanied the community with its repertoire to the Church of Santa Maria Maggiore.
At 6:00 PM, the solemn Holy Mass was celebrated in honor of the Virgin of Sorrows, before the statue kept in the church. The festival, organized by the Parish of Santa Maria Maggiore, renewed the heartfelt Marian devotion of the Abruzzo town again in 2025, combining the liturgical moment with popular participation in the historic center.
