Celebrations in Honor of Maria SS. Assunta

2025 Assunta Festivities

During Ferragosto 2025, Piazza C. Conti transformed into a stage for music, dance, and tradition to celebrate the Madonna dell'Assunta, patron saint of Caramanico Terme (PE).

Thursday, August 14th, the evening was enlivened by the Cristal Sound Show Orchestra (active since 1999), with a repertoire ranging from great Italian hits to traditional melodies; starting at 9:30 PM, the party culminated at midnight with the traditional Ballo della Pupa accompanied by fireworks. The day of the 14th also hosted the Palmentieri Festival, with a procession of women in traditional costumes and the offering of baskets of pizzelle and wheat to the Virgin.

Friday, August 15th, the day of the Assunta, the square paid tribute to Lucio Dalla with a concert by the group "Ciao Lucio," which performed the most iconic songs of the Bolognese singer-songwriter.
