Celebrations in Honor of Maria SS. Annunziata (with Clam Festival)

2025 Edition

In 2025, the Celebrations in honor of Maria SS. Annunziata were once again one of the summer highlights in Giulianova, Abruzzo. In the Annunziata district, around the Sanctuary of Santa Maria a Mare, the rites of Marian devotion were renewed: the novena, the procession of the Madonna's statue through the district streets, and the solemn Holy Mass.

Alongside the religious dimension, the Clam Festival offered local seafood specialties along Via Simoncini, from spaghetti with clams to fish stew and fried fish. There was no shortage of musical evenings, games for children, and the traditional fireworks over the sea that closed the event.
