Edition 2025 — Blessed Virgin of Grace

From May 4 to 11, 2025, Faenza celebrated its Patron Saint, the Blessed Virgin of Grace. The most solemn moment was the Pontifical Mass on May 10th in the Cathedral, presided over by the Apostolic Nuncio to Italy, Msgr. Petar Rajic, preceded on the evening of the 9th by the traditional procession from San Domenico to the Duomo and the Act of Entrustment of the city and diocese to Mary.

The 2025 edition of the Celebrations for the Blessed Virgin of Grace took place from May 4th to 11th, opening with the Mass presided over by Bishop Msgr. Mario Toso and continuing with preparation days in the communities and vicariates of the Diocese of Faenza-Modigliana. On Thursday, May 8th, the traditional blessing of vehicles was held.

On Friday, May 9th, at 8:30 PM, the solemn procession departed from the church of San Domenico to the Cathedral for the Act of Entrustment. On Saturday, May 10th, the heart of the solemnity, the Pontifical Mass at 10:30 AM was presided over by Msgr. Petar Rajic, Apostolic Nuncio to Italy; in the afternoon, the Children's Flower Offering (Fiorita dei bambini) and the tribute to the Madonna della Torre, and in the evening, the offering of candles by the Rioni, which marked the start of the Palio del Niballo festivities, with the Concert of Grace on the Cathedral square. On Sunday, May 11th, the celebrations concluded with Mass for the elderly and sick and the Mass presided over by the emeritus bishop Msgr. Claudio Stagni.
