Edition 2025 — Ceciliani Festival

The 2025 edition of the Ceciliani Festival took place in Canepina (VT) on Saturday, September 20, and Sunday, September 21. Two days dedicated to the typical handmade pasta of the Cimini Mountains, served in its traditional variations amidst great food, art, and entertainment in the heart of the Viterbo village at the foot of Lake Vico.

Ceciliani Festival 2025

The Ceciliani Festival returned to Canepina, in the province of Viterbo, on the weekend of September 20 and 21, 2025. The stalls opened on Saturday evening and for lunch on Sunday, offering handmade ceciliani made with water and flour, rolled with a metal rod, and seasoned with amatriciana, meat sauce, or a white sauce with porcini mushrooms and sausage.

The event, organized by the Pro Loco of Canepina together with the Santa Corona Festivities Committee, combined the good food of the Canepina tradition with live music and the convivial atmosphere of the historic center, confirming itself as one of the most beloved gastronomic events of autumn in the Viterbo Tuscia region.

Programme

Saturday, September 20: stalls opened in the evening; Sunday, September 21: stalls opened for lunch and dinner. Menu included ceciliani with amatriciana, meat sauce, and white sauce with porcini mushrooms and sausage, along with main courses, side dishes, and traditional desserts. Live music and entertainment in the historic center.
