Edition 2025 — Cece d'Oro

The 24th edition of the Cece d'Oro took place on Sunday, December 7, 2025, at the Senior Social Center of Pratola Peligna, organized by the Vivi Pratola Association. The competition awarded the best interpretations of the Christmas chickpea pastries, with a jury chaired by master pastry chef Angelo Di Masso. Maria Clara Carosa triumphed with a particularly refined version of the traditional sweet.

The 24th edition of the Cece d'Oro was held on Sunday, December 7, 2025, at the Senior Social Center of Pratola Peligna (AQ), confirming its role as a preview of the Pratola Christmas calendar before the lighting of the decorations on December 8.

The competition, promoted by the Vivi Pratola Association led by president Carmine Di Cato, featured numerous recipes for Christmas chickpeas, evaluated by a jury chaired by master pastry chef Angelo Di Masso of the Pasticceria Pan Dell'Orso in Scanno, who focused on the balance of flavors, presentation, and fidelity to tradition. Maria Clara Carosa won the first prize. The day was enhanced by the performance of soprano Caterina Pacella with Christmas arias and classic melodies, in the presence of Mayor Antonella Di Nino.
