Cecatiello Festival (Festival of Flavors and Street Artists)

The 2025 edition of the Festival of Flavors and Street Artists – Cecatiello Festival, the 52nd, was held in Paupisi (Province of Benevento, Campania) from Thursday, August 28 to Sunday, August 31, 2025, organized by the Pro Loco of Paupisi together with the Municipality and co-financed by the Cohesion and Development Fund.

The food stands opened every evening from 7 PM, with six cash points and POS payment accepted: the menu featured cecatielli with local meat ragù or fresh cherry tomatoes, padellaccia paupisana, stew, fries, montanara, stuffed peppers, and traditional desserts, accompanied by Aglianico and Falanghina from Sannio. The master pasta makers exceeded sixteen quintals of handmade pasta.

Regarding the performances, the seventh edition of the Street Artists Festival brought more than ten shows per evening, including rock, pop, Brazilian rhythms, ballroom dancing, and folk music, with an evening dedicated to the tarantella, workshops for children, the Trunk Fair for all four days, and, on Sunday, urban trekking and a motorcycle rally. The third edition of the Golden Cecatiello Award was also presented, dedicated to the memory of the young Paupisi native Francesco Pio Pannella. The festival closed with the pyromusical show, after days of record attendance reported by the local press.
