Edition 2025 — Cave Chestnut Festival

The 91st edition of the Cave Chestnut and Local Products Festival took place from October 24 to 26, 2025, in the historic center of the municipality, in the province of Rome. Three days at the end of October featuring roasted chestnuts, typical dishes like gnocchetti a sassetto and serpetta, an artisan market, music, and the traditional Bicicastagnata in the alleys of the Prenestini village.

Cave Chestnut Festival 2025

The 2025 edition of the Chestnut and Local Products Festival, the 91st, enlivened the historic center of Cave during the last weekend of October, from Friday, October 24 to Sunday, October 26. Organized by Pro Loco Cave, the event featured roasted chestnuts, food stalls with local specialties, an artisan market in the village alleys, concerts, shows, and the historic Bicicastagnata through the Prenestini Mountains. An event that attracts thousands of visitors from Rome and the rest of Lazio to the town of Cave every year.
