Edition 2025 — Cavati Festival

The 2025 edition of the Cavati Festival in Regalpetra took place on Friday, February 28, 2025, from 10:30 AM to 11:00 PM, in Piazza Fontana in Racalmuto. A day entirely dedicated to cavati and Racalmuto's Carnival dishes, featuring a local product expovillage, children's workshops, a street food area, and the evocative evening re-enactment of the 'Thursday of the Godmothers'.

Cavati Festival in Regalpetra 2025

The 2025 edition was held on Friday, February 28, 2025, from 10:30 AM to 11:00 PM, in Piazza Fontana in Racalmuto (AG). The day opened with the inaugural ceremony and the expovillage dedicated to local agri-food crafts, followed by the Hands in the Dough workshop for school children alongside local pasta makers and housewives.

From 12:30 PM, the street food area opened with cavati and traditional specialties: polpette di crita, meat and sausage in tomato sauce, chiacchiere, and doughnuts. At 7:15 PM, the re-enactment of the 'Thursday of the Godmothers' took place, transporting the public back to the 1970s and 80s, while from 8:00 PM, wandering musical entertainment accompanied the evening.
