Cavatelli and Seafood Festival

The thirteenth edition of the Cavatelli and Seafood Festival was held on 11 and 12 August 2025 on the churchyard of the Church of San Marco Evangelista in Vasto, organised by the parish led by Father Nicola Fioriti. The food stalls opened at 8:00 PM, offering the festival meal — cavatelli with chickpeas and seafood, stuffed mussels, a side dish, bread, and a glass of wine or a small bottle of water — at the price of 15 euros. There was no shortage of arrosticini, sausage or frankfurter sandwiches, chips, scrippelle, and draught beer. The two evenings were enlivened by live music, confirming the festival as one of the most attended gastronomic events of the Vasto summer.
