Edition 2025 — Cavalli sul Lago
The 2025 edition: Il Sogno
On July 26, 2025, Marta hosted the 15th edition of Cavalli sul Lago at the multi-purpose fields in the Porto area. This edition featured a title and a narrative thread: Il Sogno (The Dream), an equestrian theater show directed by Umberto Scotti, built around the emotional journey between a young buttero and a master rider.
The arena featured a mix of high school dressage, vaulting, liberty work, carriage driving, and Spanish riding disciplines, with professionals from all over Italy performing alongside riders from Marta and the Maremma. Food stalls opened at 7:00 PM, before the show began at 9:00 PM.
The event, part of the Marta Estate 2025 calendar, was organized by ASD Passione Cavallo in conjunction with the Municipality of Marta, with the support of the Lazio Region, the Province of Viterbo, and CONI.
