Edition 2025 — Cavalcata dell'Assunta

The 44th edition of the Palio della Cavalcata dell'Assunta in Fermo concluded on August 15, 2025, with the victory of the Molini Girola district. The jockey Sandro Gessa, riding Chilivanesu, brought the green-blue district its fifth victory, after a hard-fought race among the ten city districts.

2025 Edition - 44th Palio

The 2025 edition of the Cavalcata dell'Assunta confirmed the charm of the oldest historical re-enactment in Italy. After months of preparation and the traditional side events in the historic center of Fermo, the pageant on August 14th and the race on August 15th attracted a large audience in Piazza del Popolo.

The winner of the 44th Palio race was the Molini Girola district, with jockey Sandro Gessa on the horse Chilivanesu: for the green-blue district, it was their fifth victory. A day of celebration that renewed, once again, the millennial tradition of Fermo linked to the Assumption feast.
