Edition 2025 — Cavalcagiugno

In June 2025, Cavalcagiugno renewed its appointment in Albareto with the Bardigiano horse, bringing together breeders, owners, and enthusiasts for a day of horse trekking through the woods of Alta Val Taro. The non-competitive event confirmed its role in promoting the native breed of the Parma Apennines and the territory that preserves it.

The 2025 edition of Cavalcagiugno took place in Albareto (PR), in Alta Val Taro, within the packed schedule of events dedicated to the Bardigiano horse that animate the Apennines between Parma and Piacenza. As tradition dictates, the non-competitive gathering offered horse trekking routes along mountain trails, convivial moments, and a refreshment stop.

The event brought together riders and enthusiasts from the Apennine valleys, confirming Cavalcagiugno as one of the most cherished stops on the equestrian season dedicated to the Bardigiano breed, in anticipation of the major National Exhibition in Bardi in August.
