Edition 2025 — Cauria Hay Festival

The 2025 edition of the Cauria Hay Festival took place on Sunday, August 3, on the Cauria/Gfrill plateau, at 1,330 meters above Salorno, in the Monte Corno Nature Park. The day began in the morning with a thanksgiving Mass for the hay harvest, followed by folk music, traditional gastronomy managed by the volunteer firefighters, and games for children among the hay bales.

2025 Hay Festival

The Cauria/Gfrill Hay Festival was held on Sunday, August 3, 2025, in the hamlet of Cauria, in the municipality of Salorno sulla strada del vino (Province of Bolzano, South Tyrol/Südtirol). As per tradition, the festival opened around 10:30 AM with a thanksgiving Mass in front of the Maria Heimsuchung chapel, amidst the plateau's meadows.

Following this, the volunteer firefighters of Salorno, Pochi, and Cauria served traditional South Tyrolean dishes, while the atmosphere was enlivened by folk music from local groups. Children and families enjoyed outdoor games and the freshly cut hay bales, in a day of celebration immersed in the nature of the Monte Corno Nature Park.
