Edition 2025 — Caterina Sforza Festival

The 5th edition of the Caterina Sforza Festival - The Unconformist took place in Forlì from June 11th to 13th, 2025, for the first time entirely within the Rocca di Ravaldino, a symbolic site of Caterina Sforza. The chosen theme was 'Profane and Sacred', and among the guests were Massimo Recalcati, Alessandro D'Avenia, and Rosella Postorino, with meetings and performances from 5:30 PM until the evening.

The fifth edition of the Caterina Sforza Festival - The Unconformist was held in Forlì from June 11th to 13th, 2025, with an important novelty: for the first time, all meetings and performances took place at the Rocca di Ravaldino, Caterina Sforza's historic residence, which once again came alive with voices, music, and ideas. The theme of the edition was 'Profane and Sacred', a deliberately inverted formula to look at the sacred starting from the human and the everyday.

The festival opened on Wednesday, June 11th, with the talk 'Geni(o) e sregolatezza' (Genius and Unruliness) on Giovanni dalle Bande Nere, the opening concert of the ForlìMusica Orchestra, and the lectio magistralis by psychoanalyst Massimo Recalcati on the sacred. On Thursday, June 12th, the 'Author's Portrait' series returned with Rosella Postorino, author of 'Le assaggiatrici' (The Tasters), and a performance based on the novel. On Friday, June 13th, the curtain fell with the lectio by Alessandro D'Avenia, preceded by the monologue 'Almenopausa' by Gianna Coletti.
