Edition 2025 — Catania Book Festival

In 2025, the Catania Book Festival did not take place: the edition initially planned for the spring was cancelled, and the event returned the following year with its sixth edition, from April 24 to 26, 2026. The last edition held before the break was the fifth, hosted in Catania in September 2024 with approximately 13,000 visitors.

A year without a festival in 2025

The 2025 edition of the Catania Book Festival did not take place: after being announced, the event was cancelled, and the organization postponed the appointment to the following year. The festival returned from April 24 to 26, 2026, with its sixth edition at the Palazzo della Cultura.

The last edition held

Before the break, the fifth edition took place in Catania in September 2024, recording approximately 13,000 visitors, with over 300 guests and a program of about a hundred sessions covering fiction, poetry, art, and school workshops. The return in 2026 confirmed the vitality of the event and its strong bond with the Etnean city and the Province of Catania, in Sicily.
