Edition 2025 — Castrum Pedemontis
A tenth anniversary in the ancient village
For its tenth edition, celebrated on July 19 and 20, 2025, Castrum Pedemontis returned to the upper and oldest part of Piedimonte San Germano, in the province of Frosinone: a return to its roots intended to bring the event back to where the idea was originally conceived.
The program
The two days alternated between historical costume processions, demonstrations of ancient crafts, live theater and music performances, falconry displays, entertainment dedicated to children, and gastronomic experiences featuring local products.
The significance
Councilor for Culture Ermelinda Costa described the event as « a cultural tool, a concrete way to bring young and old closer to our history »: an educational experience designed to strengthen the sense of community and the recovery of the town's cultural identity.
