About Castion Carnival
The Carnival of the Hamlet of Castion
The Castion Carnival is the carnival celebration of Castion, a hillside hamlet of Belluno, in the heart of the Venetian Dolomites. The heart of the event is the allegorical floats, built with passion by community volunteers, which parade through the streets and the main square of the hamlet.
Masks, Music, and Fun
The day of celebration features masked floats, DJ sets, live shows, and entertainment for families. The village streets fill with colors, music, and masks, in a convivial atmosphere that involves the entire community of Castion.
A Community Celebration
The Castion Carnival is organized by Pro Loco Pieve Castionese APS and is part of a calendar of events that also includes theatrical performances at the Teatro San Gaetano. It is an example of the vitality of the festivals in the Belluno hamlets, where the carnival tradition is renewed each year thanks to the commitment of volunteers and the participation of the inhabitants of the province of Belluno.

- Carnival Day: parade of allegorical and masked floats, DJ sets, shows, and entertainment for families in the streets and square of the hamlet

Castion is a hamlet of Belluno, reachable in a few minutes by car from the city center. The festival takes place in the streets and squares of the hamlet.
