Edition 2025 — Castilenti in Festival

The second edition of Castilenti in Festival was held in June 2025 at Il Salice Castilenti, in the Colle dei Galli district. Following its 2024 debut, the event confirmed the national organetto and diatonic accordion competition as a key appointment for enthusiasts in Abruzzo, featuring contests, folk music, and the promotion of folkloric traditions.

June 2025 marked the second edition of the Castilenti in Festival, one year after its debut on June 9, 2024. The event, hosted by the Il Salice association in Castilenti, in the province of Teramo, once again featured the organetto and diatonic accordion competition dedicated to Italian players, with sections and categories divided by instrument and age.

Alongside the competition, the day offered moments of entertainment, folk dances, and an awards ceremony for participants, consolidating Castilenti's role as a meeting point for enthusiasts of traditional Abruzzo and Italian music. A growth path that led, the following year, to the third edition in 2026.
