Edition 2025 — Castiglioni Film Festival
The 11th edition of the Castiglioni Film Festival was held from July 24 to 27, 2025, in Castiglion Fiorentino, themed "Stories. Visions. Revolutions." The program alternated masterclasses, short films in competition, and open-air evening screenings with great guests of contemporary Italian cinema.
The days featured a masterclass on film costumes by Massimo Cantini Parrini and the screening of Vermiglio with director Maura Delpero; a screenwriting workshop led by Tommaso Renzoni and the screening of Familia; and a masterclass on editing by editor Jacopo Quadri and the screening of Dogman with actor Edoardo Pesce. The final day was dedicated to experimental shorts in the "Fuori Formato" section, the awards ceremony, and a dialogue with the winners.
The international short film competition received over 300 entries from 52 countries, evaluated by a jury composed of editor Jacopo Quadri, actress Selene Caramazza, director Margherita Giusti, writer Alessandro Gori, and critic Nanni Cobretti.
