The 23rd edition of the Castiglione di Garfagnana – San Pellegrino in Alpe Climb was held on Sunday, June 8, 2025, on the classic 11.8 km route that climbs from Castiglione di Garfagnana to the village of San Pellegrino in Alpe, in the heart of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines.
Among the men, Alessio Terrasi (G.P. Parco Alpi Apuane) took the win; in the women's category, victory went to Nina Gulino. Both would later confirm their success in the 2026 edition, securing a double win. The race, valid as the Giuseppe Tagliasacchi Memorial and Dr. Gabriello Angelini Memorial, confirmed in 2025 its appeal to uphill running enthusiasts and its strong bond with the Garfagnana territory and the Municipality of Castiglione di Garfagnana, in the province of Lucca.
