Edition 2025 — Castiglione Carnival
In 2025, the Castiglione Carnival once again brought the hamlet of Calasca-Castiglione (VB) in the Anzasca Valley to life. The free village festival, organized by the local committee, featured the usual distribution of polenta, sausages, mortadella, and cheese, confirming a Carnival tradition deeply rooted in the Ossola community.
Castiglione Carnival 2025
The 2025 edition took place in February in the hamlet of Castiglione, in the municipality of Calasca-Castiglione, in the Anzasca Valley (Piedmont). As every year, the festival brought the community together around the free distribution of polenta, sausages, mortadella, and cheese.
A simple and authentic Carnival, an expression of the popular Alpine traditions of the Ossola region, organized by the local committee in the historic village at the foot of Monte Rosa.
