Castelplanio Carnival Festival

The 2025 edition of the Castelplanio Carnival Festival confirmed the vitality of a tradition that the Pro Loco Castelplanio carries on year after year. During the Carnival period, the historic center of the village, in the province of Ancona, was filled with masks and colors, with festive moments designed especially for children.

As with other Castelplanio events, the festival was part of the Pro Loco's rich program, which preserves the village's traditions – from popular festivals to the art of paper hot air balloons that made Castelplanio famous as "the town of kite makers." A simple and genuine festival, with free admission, which renewed the appointment with the Vallesina Carnival.
